Working with Realtors; Does Experience Matter?
Experienced real estate agents have significantly higher success rates and sell their listings for an average of $26,000 more than those listed with rookie agents.

What Does All This Mean?

According to the Raleigh Area Association of Realtors and the Triangle MLS in the Raleigh-Cary-Durham-Chapel-Hill markets commonly referred to as the Triangle there are nearly 7,500 active real estate agents. Last year these real estate agents collectively sold and closed 29,469 real estate transactions or what amounts to an average of 3.9 transactions per agent. Arguably, there are many agents in Raleigh-Cary-Durham and Chapel Hill who sold  sold more, but then that would mean others are selling even less. These numbers are important to consider particularly when realizing that the average real estate broker in this market conducted on average about two thirds less business than the average realtor nationally. That tells me that the overwhelming majority are either very new or very part time, either way they are the least skilled among their peers.

  1. Very good and concise information. You must give me advice with video blogging as I have been wanting to do it, but have yet to start. I think it could be good for business.
