5 Things to Consider before choosing a company to restore your home after a catastrophe:

 

#1 – GET REFERENCES – The media has been very good to communicate this but the Better Business Bureau is only one option and most of their records will only be tied to a persons phone numbers.

An out of town contractor may operate using a cell phone and if they are CAT Chasers, they don’t need to keep a phone number for very long so the local BBB likely wont have any information anyway. I recommend a good old-fashioned Google search something like (Name of company or phone number) contractor reviews. Jonathan Atkins of Restoration Experts of NC  says these reviews are going to be more candid because they aren’t moderated by the BBB.
