Tips to Get Your Kids Out of the House This Summer

If  you are like me and live in a part of the country that is under heat advisory every day, you are probably struggling to find outdoor activities that your kids will enjoy for more than five minutes.

This morning while shopping in the worlds largest retail establishment I made a spontaneous $1 purchase (that’s how they are the biggest if not the best) of water pistols.

I know there are the parents that will disapprove but here’s three proof that it works. My kids ran around our community park shooting each other and just having a ball. It wasn’t long before unarmed children foolishly joined in the game to give chase.

With water pistols on clearance this time of the year and yet another two months summer still on track in North Carolina I will be buying a full arsenal of these inexpensive toys for my children to play with. Best of all…..no batteries required!
