#1 How long have you been a
mortgage lender?
Just as experience with your lawyer, CPa and doctor matters, so does experience with your mortgage loan officer. Loan officers with just three years’ experience have significantly higher pull through rates than those with less. According the NMLS 2013 Industry Report, of the 9,368 licensed loan officers in North Carolina by the end of 2013, a full 1/3 or 3,598 of those loan officers were newly licensed in 2013!
