FAQ – First Time Home Buyer definition

Q: If married do both persons have to meet the requirements to be considered eligible First Tie Home Buyer?
(Do All Buyers need to be First Tome Home Buyers?)

Eligibility is determined is by a review of the most recent three year period of Federal Income Tax filings. If there are any mortgage interest deductions on the Schedule A for either borrower then they would likely both be deemed ineligible.
